Reelfoot Lake is the winter home of
the American Bald Eagle. They perch in trees
surrounding Reelfoot Lake. Eagle watchers and
photographers Will find the scenic beauty of Reelfoot
the perfect place to capture their proudest photography.
Several Eagles remain 100 foot away from Reelfoot Lodge
year round. primary months for Eagle watching are
November through March, with January being the crest
time. Eagle viewing is best from December through
February.
Eagle tours are offered daily at Reelfoot State Park
from December through February. Pontoon boat tours are
offered spring through fall.
EAGLE TOURS - American Bald Eagle and Waterfowl
Tours begin January 2 and continue through mid-March.
Buses will leave daily at 10:00 AM from Reelfoot Lake
State Park Airpark Inn. Tours will last approximately 2
hours. There is a moderate charge for this tour and
reservations should be made in advance.
